Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. She was born in Phoenix Arizona, USA on July 16th 1991. She had a guest role on Victorious alongside Victoria Justice in 2012. Shipp started her acting career in 2009 when she was a guest actor for Alvin and the Chipmunks. A third series of Nickelodeon's thriller teen-drama show House of Anubis saw her play KT as the main character. Shipp received recognition in 2014 when she played Dani Raymond and Aaliyah in Drumline: A New Beat on television at VH1 and Aaliyah in Aaliyah: Princess of R&B by Lifetime. Shipp sang the track for her last role. She next played Ice Cube's wife Kimberly Woodruff in the biographical film drama Straight Outta Compton which chronicled the lives of the hip hop group N.W.A. In 2016 she was in a co-starring role as Ororo Munroe and Storm in Bryan Singer's superhero film X-Men: Apocalypse. Halle Berry has previously appeared as the weather-controlling mutant. In the year 2018 Nick Robinson, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. starred in Love Simon. Kathryn Prescott was also a part of Dude. James is her older brother. She portrayed Danielle Dani Raymond, a character from Drumline the film New Beat (2014). Alexandra Ruth Shipp (born July 16 1991) is a American actress singer songwriter and musician who gained notoriety for playing the role of a real-life artist Aaliyah as a character in the Lifetime TV film Aaliyah the Princess of R&B (2014) and Kimberly Woodruff in the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton (2015).
